The Washington DC Post is an active SAME Post that Serves the Engineering
Community in the National Capital Area. The DC Post has over 1,400 members,
with over 130 Sustaining Member Firms. The DC Post's Sustaining Member
Firms and Individual Members encompass professionals from diverse fields.
Our members are planners, architects, engineers, construction and environmental
scientists, educational and research and development specialists, IT professionals,
and many others. Many of our members serve on the DC Board of Direction,
DC Committees, and help out as volunteers.
We welcome diversity of members at our Post. We welcome new members from the military services, the private sector, as well as from the government sector and small business. In addition, we are looking to increase our Young Members and our student members. To encourage new memberships, we are introducing a number of incentives for those who are interested in recruiting New Members to our Award Winning Post.
We have a number of prizes and offers for those DC Post Members who take a step forward in our Annual Membership Drive. We are most appreciative of your efforts and look forward to the growth of our Washington DC Post.
