econstruction of Afghanistan, Military and Civilian Contractor Integration

Larry Walker discussed the large scale USAID program to rehabilitate economic infrastructure in Afghanistan that requiring the collaboration of Civilian Contractors, The Military, State Department and Government of Afghanistan. Larry spends considerable time between Afghanistan and Washington working interagency and contracting issues to achieve the common goal of peace and stability through reconstruction in Afghanistan.

DC Mega Construction Projects

The SAME Washington DC Post hosted a March luncheon at the Washington Navy Yard about mega construction projects currently being worked on by our DC Post members. Presenters included James Brogan, Facchina-McGaughan discussing the $250 million Turnberry Tower residential project in Rosslyn, and Matt Hass, Clark Construction reviewed the construction progress of the $611 million Washington Nationals Ballpark.
